The Ministry of Health has approved the "Clinical protocol on Syphilis: diagnostics and treatment"
The next clinical protocol developed by Public Health and Reforms Center (PHRC) has been approved by the Ministry of Health Board’s decision No. 23 of 21 May 2015.
Designed by leading healthcare experts and based on the best scientific information, the “Clinical protocol on Syphilis: diagnostics and treatment” is intended to be used by dermatovenerologists, obstetrician-gynecologists, pediatricians, neurologists, psychiatrists, cardiologists, ophthalmologists, otorhinolaryngologists, GPs, urinologists and infectiologists. The target group is syphilis-infected patients and people in contact with those patients.
The protocol was elaborated to improve diagnostics, treatment and preventive care of syphilis and provides the most updated evidence-based recommendations on best practices in diagnostics and treatment of syphilis.
